Airport TaxiArriving at the Airport? The easiest way to reach us is by using the official taxi service. Once you exit the Arrivals Gate, head to the taxi desk to get a fixed-price transfer for about 800–900 Baht to the villa. This avoids any haggling and ensures your driver knows exactly where to drop you off. Safe travels!
Car RentalRenting a car at the airport: for guests looking to explore the island, car rental desks are located right at the Arrivals Gate.
- Ensure you have your International Driving Permit (IDP) ready for the rental desk.
- Remember that we drive on the left in Thailand.
- Don't worry about parking — we have a dedicated space waiting for you at the villa!

We are located in the quiet neighborhood of Baan Tai, placing you just moments away from the pristine shores of Baan Tai Beach.

THINGS TO KNOW
Electricity
Electricity charge is not included, and is charged at 7 THB per kWh. To ensure a smooth and reliable rental process, a 5,000 THB security deposit is requested upon arrival at the villa. It will be refunded at the end of your stay, deducted for your electricity consumption.
Climate Control
To help us preserve the natural beauty of Koh Samui, we kindly ask that you set the air conditioning between 23°C and 26°C. This range keeps the villa perfectly cool while being mindful of our island's energy environment.
Tap Water
Tap water in Thailand is not safe for drinking. We've provided some bottled water in the fridge for extra convenience.
Parking
There's a designated parking spot at the villa for 1 car & 1 motorbike.
Housekeeping
For stays longer than 7 nights, a cleaning is included once per week. We will notify you the day of cleaning and our staff will be on the property from 12–5 pm. If you would like our cleaner to come in a different time, please let us know beforehand.
PETS POLICY
While we are great animal lovers ourselves, our villa is currently a pet-free retreat to ensure it remains in immaculate condition for our current and upcoming guests.
If you are traveling with a certified service animal, please share the official documentation with us prior to check-in so we can ensure a smooth welcome for you.

No Guests
Only the confirmed number of guests are allowed. Please notify us if you'd like to add any additional guests to your reservation.
Cleanliness
Please help us keep the villa clean as this helps us keep the villa fresh and ready for our next guests/villa viewing. Thank you!
No Smoking
To maintain the clean, tropical atmosphere, we kindly ask that you refrain from smoking or vaping inside the villa. However, please feel free to enjoy a cigarette or vape in our outdoor living areas.
No Shoes Indoors
In Thailand, removing shoes before entering a home is a sign of respect and we embrace it here. Leave footwear at the entrance/doors and slip into the rattan slippers waiting for you inside.
Noise & No Parties
We're tucked into a quiet corner of Koh Samui. Please keep noise down from 10 PM–8 AM, and no parties. Your neighbours (and we!) will thank you.
Damage
Help us keep things in good condition. We know accidents happen. If something isn't working quite right or if there's a spill or breakage, please send us a quick message.
GETTING AROUND
Public Bus "Song Taew"
Experience the Local Way: 'Songthaews' (the red passenger trucks) are a classic Samui experience and an easy way to explore the island. They circulate the main ring road. Flag one down as it passes. Most rides follow the main perimeter, stopping at major attractions.
Pro Tip: Confirm your destination and price with the driver before hopping in, and have small cash denominations ready, as they generally do not have change or accept credit cards.
Scooter & Car Rental
For longer stays, renting a car is the most comfortable way to navigate Samui's hills and tropical heat. If you're considering a scooter, please stay extra cautious. Island roads are very tricky for beginners.
Grab (Thai Uber)
For shorter stays, we highly recommend downloading the Grab app. It's the local version of Uber and allows you to book cars or SUVs with fixed, transparent pricing, so there's no need to negotiate. Whether you're heading to a sunset dinner or exploring a nearby temple, it's our favorite way to travel.

Grab app is the local version of UberEats or DoorDash and is very easy to use.

- Set Location: The app will use your GPS, but double-check that the pin matches our address.
- Browse: Choose from hundreds of local restaurants.
- Pay: Link your credit card or pay the driver with cash.
Grocery Delivery
If you need a full restock of groceries or toiletries, the best apps to use:
- GrabMart (Fastest & Easiest) — Since you already have the Grab app, just tap the "Mart" icon. Best for quick runs (milk, snacks, cold drinks). Usually 25–40 minutes.
- Lotus's — For a "big" grocery shop. Best for fresh produce, meat, pantry staples, and imported brands. Download: iOS
- Tops Online — Good for cheese and wine. Payment: All apps accept international credit cards or cash on delivery.

Is parking available near the house?
Yes, there is parking available at the villa. You can also find additional street parking nearby.
How far is it to the city center from your place?
While our villa offers a quiet tropical escape, we're just 15 minutes from the heart of the busy center. You'll have easy access to daily essentials nearby, making it easy to tuck into your retreat or head out for a night on the town.
How much is an Uber from the airport?
There is no Uber or Grab from the airport. Private taxis are available for hire and they typically ranges between 800 and 900 Baht. If you need help arranging for an airport pickup, please contact us to arrange at least 1 week in advance.
